Third Suburi

This is one of the Kokyü, or breathe techniques. As the right foot steps back, the sword is raised directly overhead. This alignment allows the universal Ki to enter the tip of the sword and fill your whole body. As the sword is lowered backwards, hold your breath and settle your body in the side stance. The strike is made with a single exhalation of your breath.
